Biomedical Science primarily aims to deepen our comprehension of how the human body functions in both healthy and diseased states. During the initial two years of your studies, you'll develop a wide-ranging understanding of medical science topics and scientific research techniques. You'll also sharpen your critical thinking skills and improve your teamwork and communication abilities through collaborative projects and presentations.
In the program's third and fourth years, you'll master advanced concepts in developmental biology. This field plays a pivotal role in discovering treatments for genetic disorders like cancer and drives breakthroughs in contemporary medicine, particularly in areas such as stem cell therapy, regeneration, and tissue healing.
