Biomedical Science primarily aims to deepen our comprehension of how the human body functions in both healthy and diseased states. During the initial two years of your studies, you'll develop a wide-ranging understanding of medical science topics and scientific research techniques. You'll also sharpen your critical thinking skills and improve your teamwork and communication abilities through collaborative projects and presentations.
In the program's third and fourth years, you'll master advanced anatomical knowledge. The University of Aberdeen features a cutting-edge anatomy facility located in the Suttie Centre at the Foresterhill Health Campus. Beyond conventional cadaver-based instruction, we're equipped with an innovative 3D anatomy learning system that incorporates virtual anatomy into various educational settings.
