Key curriculum components cover biomaterials, tissue engineering principles, bioinstrumentation techniques, and medical device innovation. Our faculty brings extensive industry experience, with multiple successful medical technology startups originating from the School of Engineering.

The program operates within the prestigious NIBEC center, Ireland's longest-running Biomedical Research facility, featuring state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with cutting-edge nanofabrication, biological testing, and material characterization technologies.
