The MEng Hons in Engineering Management is a five-year program with full CEng accreditation, blending engineering expertise with business acumen. This comprehensive curriculum covers diverse areas including engineering technology, materials science, manufacturing systems, product design, mechanical engineering, and business management principles.
Graduates of this MEng program pursue careers across various industries, spearheading the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, pioneering innovative production methods, and optimizing resource utilization in engineering environments.
Students cultivate analytical thinking, design capabilities, and problem-solving techniques alongside essential professional competencies in communication, collaboration, and project leadership. The program features a mandatory 12-month paid industry placement in the third year, providing hands-on experience with actual engineering challenges and demonstrating practical applications of theoretical knowledge. Completion of this placement earns students the Diploma in Professional Practice (DPP) upon graduation.
