Core study themes include: Heritage policy and management challenges across Ireland, examining the social, economic, and cultural dimensions of museums and heritage, and global perspectives on sector trends. Our research-driven modules provide essential skills for academic and career advancement. We'll develop the specialized knowledge needed for heritage, museum, and arts professions. You'll learn from graduates excelling in education, curation, preservation, and leadership roles. Our alumni hold positions at National Museums Northern Ireland, regional heritage sites, the National Trust, and institutions across Dublin, Scotland, and England. By engaging with arts, heritage, and exhibition practices alongside us, you'll gain the expertise to advance your professional journey.

We welcome people with an honours degree in an area relevant to museum and heritage practice, such as:

Arts and Humanities e.g. Archaeology and Anthropology, History, Fine and Applied Arts,
Environmental Sciences e.g. Geography (including human geography and historic geography),
Social Sciences e.g. Sociology, Policy Studies,
Business & Marketing e.g. Tourism Studies, Management Studies.
You will find that the diverse student group will greatly enhance your learning experience.

If you do not have an honours degree, but have relevant experience or learning, we will consider your application.

IELTS 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5., TOEFL iBT - 80 with a minimum L - 17 R - 18 S - 20 W - 17, PTE Academic - 55 (with min. of 51 in each part)
