This program enhances your academic abilities while equipping you with the clinical skills needed to begin your career as an occupational therapist. You'll examine the field through diverse occupational therapy practices, engaging with various clinical environments, including non-traditional settings. Alongside learning intervention techniques, you'll develop strong clinical reasoning skills and understand the professional responsibilities within interdisciplinary and multi-agency work. Starting September 2020, all new and continuing students meeting eligibility requirements will receive an annual £5,000 maintenance grant, which does not require repayment. More information available here. Our curriculum incorporates problem-based learning methods and interdisciplinary collaboration with students from other healthcare fields. Upon completion, you'll qualify to register with the Health and Care Professions Council and join the Royal College of Occupational Therapists. This program holds approval from the Health and Care Professions Council and accreditation from both the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.
