This program enhances your expertise in instrumentation, electronics, and control systems while cultivating your capacity to integrate information from diverse sources and make informed judgments on challenging engineering issues. The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) accredits this program on behalf of the Engineering Council, fulfilling the Further Learning criteria for Chartered Engineer status. Applicants need a CEng-accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate degree to meet full CEng registration prerequisites.

We consider a wide range of first degree subjects including automation and control engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, electrical engineering, electrical systems, electronic engineering, electronic systems, instrumentation/control engineering, mechatronics, and robotics.
Students with a degree awarded outside the UK must also meet the University's minimum English language requirements.
