Registered dietitians are healthcare experts who evaluate, diagnose, and address dietary and nutritional issues for individuals and communities. This 21-month program spans five semesters. The initial semester provides foundational knowledge and skills for assessing and treating individuals, groups, and populations with various diet-related health conditions, including 75 hours of practical experience. The second semester involves a 13-week supervised clinical placement with qualified dietitians. During the third semester, students enhance their assessment and management skills while examining dietitians' role in health promotion, particularly through public health initiatives. The curriculum also covers research and innovation in dietetics, laying the groundwork for the final semester's capstone project. Semester four includes another 13-week practical placement. The program concludes in semester five with the completion of the major research project.
