Our MSc Applied Psychology program includes identical modules to the MSc Psychology degree, while also offering an Applied Practice component featuring an internship for hands-on experience. This course helps non-psychology graduates build specialized knowledge, develop practical and professional competencies, and enhance transferable academic skills. Through interactive learning, you'll explore how psychological principles translate into real-world applications. The research component equips you to conduct supervised psychological studies, preparing you for careers in academia or professional practice. The Applied Practice module provides workplace experience to boost career prospects and reinforce theoretical knowledge. With guidance from our career services, you'll secure either external internships or substantial university-based projects, potentially collaborating with active researchers. The selection process includes interviews, and you'll receive both a workplace mentor and academic supervisor.
