Our MA in 3D Games Art emphasizes equipping you with industry-ready skills by teaching the technical application of creative digital artwork for games. Developed collaboratively by our faculty and seasoned professionals, this program draws from extensive experience in both UK and international gaming sectors.
Students enjoy cutting-edge resources, featuring high-performance dual-screen workstations with standard graphics tablets, along with dedicated spaces like Cintiq studios, green screen/photography areas, and a motion capture lab. Additional benefits include a newly established VR development studio, traditional art spaces with drawing studios, scanners, and light boxes. The curriculum stays current through ongoing partnerships with leading studios like Cloud Imperium Games, while guest lectures from companies such as Ubisoft and DreamWorks provide valuable industry insights.
The MA 3D Games Art offers three flexible study options:
full-time - 2 years with advanced practice (September intake)
full-time - 1 year (September/January intake) or 16 months (January intake)
part-time - 2 years.
