This program provides comprehensive knowledge about the physiology of key bodily systems, human health, and disease processes. You'll examine the origins, diagnosis, and management of human illnesses through an interdisciplinary, evidence-based approach, preparing you for diverse careers in healthcare and life sciences.
The curriculum focuses on three central themes: human anatomy and physiology, human biology and disease, and healthcare technologies. You'll investigate human development across the lifespan, adaptation to stress, and lifestyle influences on health. The program involves researching therapeutic approaches to mitigate disease risk factors while developing essential professional skills like laboratory protocols, safety regulations, tissue handling procedures, and patient care standards. You'll also cultivate transferable abilities including research, teamwork, and communication through presentations and written assignments. This foundation supports progression to postgraduate studies in fields such as public health, clinical therapies, medical imaging, and nursing.
