Grounded in local, national and global research, SUSP's Secondary Welsh PGCE teaches you to make Welsh engaging, enjoyable and relevant while developing skills to assess both your professional growth and student progress. The Swansea University Schools' Partnership leverages the institution's extensive Welsh language academic resources to deliver exceptional, practice-based initial teacher education founded on integrated learning principles. Every component of this collaboratively designed course will be implemented, evaluated and enhanced through ongoing partnership efforts. Graduates who successfully complete the SUSP PGCE become eligible for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recommendation to the Education Workforce Council and can pursue Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) positions in schools.
