Physics blends analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with mathematical language to explore the universe's mysteries. If you're driven by curiosity about how things function, from quantum particles to cosmic expanses, and aspire to build a career in physics, our four-year MPhys Physics program is designed for you.
You'll master fundamental physics principles and mathematical methods, applying them to breakthroughs in quantum computing, cosmology, semiconductor technology, laser physics, and nuclear & particle physics. During your final year, you'll choose from specialized modules covering areas like machine learning, quantum information theory, quantum field theory, and black hole physics.
You'll undertake an extensive year-long MPhys research project, guided by world-renowned academics, gaining hands-on experience at the forefront of these disciplines. The flexible program structure allows you to spend a year studying internationally or gaining industry experience locally or abroad.
