The DProf and MRes in Health Professions Education Research provides specialized training in educational research methodologies. Qualification Requirements

MRes: Applicants for MRes must normally hold an undergraduate degree at 2.1 level (or Non-UK equivalent as defined by Swansea University). See - Country-specific Information for European Applicants and Country-specific Information for International Applicants.

There is also provision for admission that takes into account work experience when the applicant have an undergraduate degree but not at a 2:1 honours level. Applicants who have already completed masters-level taught modules with outcomes that are significantly similar to those in the taught phase of the programme may be allowed to APeL those credits into Phase 1. This decision will have to be made on a case-by-case basis by the Programme Director and the School's APeL Committee.
