The fields of high-energy particle physics and cosmology explore the most fundamental questions about matter's basic components and the universe's beginnings. During our three-year BSc Physics with Particle Physics and Cosmology program, you'll master core physical principles and mathematical methods to understand quantum phenomena and their cosmic connections. The curriculum offers varied modules spanning astronomy & astrophysics, quantum information, gravitation & cosmology, plus nuclear and particle physics. You'll engage in cutting-edge research projects guided by Swansea's world-renowned particle physicists and cosmologists.

A levels: grades ABB-BBB including Maths and Physics.
Welsh Baccalaureate: Requirements are as for A levels where you can substitute the same non-subject specific grade for the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Level Core Grade.
BTEC: DDM plus A-level grade B in Physics. Applicants may also be expected to demonstrate knowledge of mathematics at A Level.
Scottish Highers: ABBBC to include B in Mathematics and Physics.
International Baccalaureate: 32 overall with 5 in Higher Level Maths and Physics.
IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or equivalent English test.
