Our four-year BSc Geography program with a foundation year is perfect for students who don't yet meet the entry requirements for first-year admission. This initial year helps build crucial knowledge needed to successfully complete the degree.
After finishing the Foundation Year, students can advance to either the BSc or BA Geography programs.
This flexible degree offers customizable study paths combining human and physical geography courses. Students may choose to spend a year studying internationally or gain professional experience through local, national, or international work placements.
Fieldwork is a key component at Swansea. Our field trips visit stunning locations including the Gower Peninsula and international destinations like Borneo, the Indian Himalayas, and Mallorca.

Welsh Baccalaureate: Requirements are as for A levels where you can substitute the same non-subject specific grade for the Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced Level Core Grade.
IB: 28 or above to include 4 in HL or 5 in SL English Language.
