You'll embark on a comprehensive academic journey, developing diverse skills while exploring unique and engaging Geography modules that set Lancaster apart. Choose from offerings like Introduction to Eco-Innovation, collaborating with both academics and industry professionals from our Environment Centre.
Your second year focuses on fundamental Geography skills and concepts through core modules, complemented by various electives. The third year involves completing a detailed dissertation while selecting six additional modules across Geography's specialized fields.
During your final year, you'll conduct dissertation research while choosing four advanced modules from our Environment Centre's Master's-level options, such as Geoinformatics, Environmental Justice, and Climate Change and Society.

Required Subjects A level Geography is recommended, or alternatively one of the following subjects: Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, Classics, Economics, English Literature, Environmental Studies, Geology, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Religious Studies, Sociology, World Development.
GCSE Mathematics grade C or 4, English Language grade C or 4
IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in each component. TOEFL IBT - 87 overall, minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 17 in speaking and 20 in writing. Cambridge English: Advanced CAE 176 overall with at least 162 in each element.

International Baccalaureate 35 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 Higher Level subjects including Geography or alternative cognate subject at HL grade 6
