Gain expertise in sport and exercise therapy, physiotherapy, or sports rehabilitation specifically for football medicine, working with both injured and non-injured athletes.
This program is tailored for graduates in sport and exercise therapy, physiotherapy, or sports rehabilitation who want to specialize in football medicine or are currently working in the field while pursuing their master's degree alongside clinical practice.

Concentrating on advanced clinical techniques in football, this course offers specialized sport and exercise medicine modules to build expertise in acute sports injuries, physical rehabilitation, diagnosis, treatment, and injury prevention within football.

You'll acquire hands-on skills to rehabilitate injured football players and improve the fitness and performance of healthy athletes. The curriculum provides an in-depth exploration of key theories and concepts related to football training, physical conditioning, and rehabilitation, along with sport science methods for assessing and tracking fitness and performance.

Through a mentored placement at a football club, you'll apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. Taking charge of your own caseload, you'll examine, assess, treat, and manage football athletes, allowing you to refine your skills, implement best practices, and critically evaluate evidence-based approaches in football medicine.
