Elevate athletes to new heights with our CIMSPA-accredited degree program. You'll train in professional environments and collaborate with national sports organizations to acquire elite expertise. This program enhances your abilities to lead coaching sessions for local athletes and community organizations while offering volunteer and placement opportunities with individual athletes and groups.
Students can choose between two specialized tracks: sports coaching science or sports development.
The coaching science pathway focuses on advanced scientific principles – including physiology, biomechanics, and coaching psychology.
The sports development track emphasizes sports policy, program implementation, and community initiatives, with hands-on experience designing and assessing local projects.
Both pathways enable practical application of knowledge through work with athletes or community groups, delivering training and development programs for schools, clubs, youth organizations, and community initiatives.
With a strong emphasis on real-world experience and career readiness, the program offers diverse placement opportunities ranging from local community engagement to comprehensive year-long professional placements.

A minimum of two completed A-levels, a BTEC Extended Diploma at PPP or BTEC Diploma at MP, a T-Level Pass (D or E), or equivalent.
We will consider mature students who have not recently undertaken a formal course of study at A-level, or equivalent, but can demonstrate relevant work or voluntary experience, that's indicative of their ability to complete the course successfully.
IELTS minimum 6.0 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each individual component
TOEFL IBT minimum 80 with a minimum of 20 in each individual component
