This program enables you to implement management principles and sports science in practical settings, equipping you to graduate as a self-assured, industry-ready professional.

You'll explore foundational sports science concepts alongside sports management. With this foundation, we'll prepare you to enhance the operations of sports and recreation organizations. For aspiring entrepreneurs, we offer guidance to refine your business concepts.

The curriculum emphasizes cultivating crucial management abilities while examining organizational structures, sports promotion strategies, and long-term planning. You'll integrate these skills through a collaborative project with our partner organizations, including Nottingham Forest Football Club, which actively participates in our Sports Marketing coursework.

Merging sports science, exercise physiology, and business administration, this program delivers the expertise, competencies, and hands-on experience required for leadership roles in sports, recreation, or related sectors. Annually, selected Sport Science students gain practical experience in our Sport and Wellbeing Academy, applying classroom knowledge in professional settings while developing career-critical skills. Under the mentorship of our seasoned Senior Exercise Practitioners, you'll implement fitness initiatives to benefit community health and wellness.
