The foundation program kicks off with a collaborative five-week group project, allowing students to connect with peers who share their interests while easing into the program. This one-year foundation equips students with essential creative, technical, and academic skills to transition into degree-level study. Successful completion leads to progression into Solent's three-year BA (Hons) Fine Art program.
This program encourages diverse approaches to fine art creation and theory. You'll acquire new skills and master various mediums to produce high-quality artwork. The curriculum allows you to focus on the techniques, concepts, and processes that most excite you.
We'll help you develop your unique artistic voice, fostering your talents to become innovative creators and confident thinkers.
Our specialized fine art studios provide everything needed to maximize your potential. Additional resources include our media academy's Mac suites loaded with design software, plus a media store offering HD cameras, video equipment, and sound gear.
