If you don't fulfill the admission criteria for our BA (Hons) Fashion Design program, or would benefit from additional preparation before beginning degree-level studies, we suggest enrolling in our foundation year. This introductory year is structured to foster creative exploration and experimentation.
This program equips you with essential skills and design expertise to succeed in the dynamic fashion industry. Through hands-on projects, you'll gain exposure to various sectors before focusing on your chosen specialization.
The course also offers the option to concentrate on and earn an alternative qualification - BA Fashion Design (Digital) - covering innovative areas like avatar creation and game design.
Our curriculum is built on core principles: connecting you with industry, fostering collaboration, encouraging innovative thinking, and creating a nurturing environment for your growth.
This foundation program unites students from all our art and design disciplines as one creative collective. You'll collaborate and learn together in specialized studio spaces with access to our exceptional facilities.

CDD at A Level with a grade C in a relevant subject.
MMP in BTEC Extended Diploma in a relevant subject.
Pass overall from a T level qualification with C from core
A combination of qualifications which must include an A level grade C or BTEC grade M in a relevant subject and may include AS levels, EPQ and general studies

We may also accept you, if you have limited qualifications but can show evidence of ability and a genuine commitment to studying Art and Design.
