Our LLM (Master of Laws) program offers you the chance to learn at our dynamic School of Law, which specializes in legal systems and issues facing the Global South, with particular emphasis on Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
The LLM's flexible structure lets you design your own curriculum by selecting from diverse modules covering areas like comparative law, international law, commercial law, human rights, environmental law, Islamic law, and dispute resolution.
Students also have the option to take courses outside the Law School, accessing SOAS's renowned offerings in languages, cultures, arts, humanities, politics, economics, finance, and other disciplines.
To complete the degree, students write a dissertation, conducting in-depth research on a topic they choose.
