The BA Korean combined honors program equips students with comprehensive skills in written and spoken Korean while offering exposure to both traditional and modern aspects of Korean society - spanning from classical literature and historical studies to modern Korean film and television.
This Korean studies curriculum accommodates complete beginners as well as learners with prior Korean language experience. The third academic year involves immersion in Korea to enhance linguistic abilities and cultural awareness, including insights into local business customs. As a combined honors course, it enables students to tailor their academic journey by pairing Korean studies with another discipline. All participants complete their third year at either Korea University or Sogang University in South Korea.
