Our unique BA History combined degree delivers compelling explorations of both historical moments and eras across these regions, alongside examining history as an academic field. The program's structure incorporates influential theoretical approaches employed by scholars and students alike, including postcolonial and decolonial frameworks. This SOAS program cultivates a globally aware, analytical viewpoint that pushes historical understanding forward.

The BA History combined course motivates students to engage with African, Asian, and Middle Eastern histories through local viewpoints and regional contexts.
