Our postgraduate program in Classical Art and Archaeology is tailored for individuals seeking to deepen their knowledge of ancient civilizations by examining Greek and Roman artistic creations and archaeological remains. This MA curriculum explores the Classical era through surviving artworks and artifacts from daily life. It leverages the specialized knowledge of department faculty with research focuses spanning the Near East, Roman Britain, Italy, and Greek architectural history.
This intercollegiate program is a collaborative effort between King's College London and University College London, allowing students to benefit from the combined academic strengths of all three institutions. The tri-collegiate structure provides an exceptional variety of course options, including studies in Greek/Latin texts, ancient philosophy, and specialized disciplines like papyrology, epigraphy, and palaeography.
