Whatever your motivation, our Physics department strives to educate and inspire through the study of Physics, the most foundational of all sciences.
As a leading institution for Physics education and research in the UK, this program covers essential knowledge expected of physics graduates, including quantum mechanics, electromagnetism, statistical physics, thermodynamics, Einstein's theory of relativity, and the fundamental nature of matter and the cosmos. You'll also cultivate mathematical, experimental, and conceptual expertise.
