When you pursue Geography at Royal Holloway, University of London, you'll engage with a globally relevant discipline, examining subjects like societal progress, trade networks, and the dynamic relationship between geographic elements and human aspirations.
This flexible program allows you to customize your studies in years 2 and 3 with diverse optional modules, ranging from Political Geography to Climate Change to Urban Spaces Beyond Capitalism. Fieldwork forms an essential component of the Geography experience at Royal Holloway. Beyond serving as valuable research practice, our comprehensive fieldwork schedule fosters strong departmental bonds. Students can participate in an exciting array of field excursions both in the UK and internationally, with current destinations including Cyprus, Spain, Malawi, Sicily, London, and New York. The first-year field trip to Spain is covered by tuition fees.
