This degree offers two distinct pathways: the BSc (Honours) Natural Sciences and the BSc Joint Honours. Both options allow students to switch to either the Year Abroad or Placement track after their second year, extending the program duration from three to four years.

Subjects are organized into three categories:

Group 1 comprises Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology. Students must dedicate at least 50% of their second and third-year studies to Group 1 subjects, though not all combinations are available.

Group 2 includes Anthropology, Business, Economics, Geography, and Philosophy.

Group 3 features Sport and Education (excluding History of Art). These subjects are only available in the BSc (Honours) Natural Sciences pathway, with a maximum of half your second and third-year studies permitted from Groups 2 and 3 combined. Joint Honours degrees are offered in these combinations:

Biology paired with Anthropology, Chemistry, Geography, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or Psychology;
Chemistry combined with Biology, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics;
Computer Science partnered with Business, Mathematics, or Physics;
Earth Sciences matched with Biology, Chemistry, or Geography;
Mathematics joined with Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Philosophy, Physics, or Psychology;
Physics coupled with Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Philosophy;
Psychology combined with Biology, Economics, or Mathematics.
