This program is co-taught by the Department of Law and Criminology alongside the Department of Psychology. Accredited by the British Psychological Society, it provides graduates with eligibility for Graduate and/or Chartered Membership. At Royal Holloway, University of London, you'll explore criminal behavior, justice systems, and psychological influences including biological, social, clinical, and cognitive aspects of human behavior. The curriculum explores psychological disorders and treatments, social and cognitive behavioral influences, and behavioral modification techniques. It also investigates the roots of criminal acts (such as violent offenses, terrorism, and hate crimes) and societal responses to crime and deviance.
