The program in Politics, International Relations and Modern Languages examines core aspects of modern political systems and global affairs while incorporating comprehensive German language studies alongside cultural and societal understanding. This interdisciplinary course, jointly offered by the Department of Politics, International Relations and Philosophy and the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, benefits from both departments' exceptional research capabilities and global perspectives.
The political studies component introduces students to international relations frameworks and governmental structures, covering specialized research fields including security studies, global diplomacy, and military strategy analysis.
Modern language students will achieve advanced written and spoken fluency while cultivating superior communication abilities, research methodologies, and intercultural competencies.
