Royal Holloway offers a distinctive Philosophy perspective that transcends traditional boundaries between Anglo-American analytic and European philosophical traditions, exploring their intersections. This fosters an interdisciplinary program uniting faculty from various university departments. Specializations span diverse philosophical areas including aesthetics, literary philosophy, ancient and Hellenistic thought, modern European philosophy, contemporary analytic philosophy, and American pragmatism.
