This program enables you to blend Modern Languages (75% of your studies) with International Relations (25%), including a year abroad during your third year.
As a Modern Languages student, you'll achieve proficiency in one or two languages from French, Spanish, German, and/or Italian. Whether you begin at introductory, advanced, or native-level, you'll master essential language skills through writing, reading, speaking, and listening exercises, all taught by native-speaking instructors.
Additionally, you'll delve into International Relations, examining topics like conflict and security, diplomacy and development, globalization and power dynamics, communication and activism, and international political economy. The curriculum provides a strong grounding in IR history and theory, helping you grasp the intricacies of modern global governance and its underlying principles.
