This MEng Renewable Energy Engineering program prepares students to become adaptable engineers capable of solving current and emerging challenges in the renewable energy sector. Graduates will gain extensive knowledge, technical expertise, and creative problem-solving skills demanded by the worldwide renewable energy field.
The curriculum offers hands-on learning through diverse activities such as lab sessions, collaborative projects, workshops, practical engineering exercises, dynamic lectures, and industry interactions.
Students will explore cutting-edge renewable energy technologies and can focus on their preferred specialization through independent research projects. Collaborative initiatives and industry placements will enable participants to contribute to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Qualification Requirements
SQA Higher: BBBC to include Maths and either Engineering Science, Physics, Chemistry or Technological Studies. English at National 5 grade C or above is required if not held at Higher.
GCE A Level: BCC to include Mathematics at grade B plus either Physics, Chemistry, Design Technology or Engineering. GCSE English at grade 5/C or above is required if not held at A Level.
Irish Leaving Certificate Higher: H2H3H3H3 to include Maths and either Physics, Chemistry or Technological Studies. English at grade O3 or above is required if not held at Higher.
IB Diploma: 27 to include Higher Level Maths and Physics or Chemistry at grade 5. English is required at a minimum of Standard Level grade 4.
