This MEng Renewable Energy Engineering program prepares students to become adaptable engineers capable of solving current and emerging challenges while revolutionizing the renewable energy sector. Graduates will gain extensive expertise, technical abilities, versatile skills, and innovative thinking essential for the worldwide renewable energy field.
The curriculum offers contemporary, hands-on learning through diverse activities such as lab sessions, collaborative projects, workshops, engineering applications, dynamic lectures, and industry involvement.
Students will explore cutting-edge renewable energy technologies and methodologies while focusing on their preferred specialization through independent research. Participation in team projects and industry internships will allow students to contribute to multiple facets of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

SQA Higher: BBBC to include Maths and either Engineering Science, Physics, Chemistry or Technological Studies. English at National 5 grade C or above is required if not held at Higher.
GCE A Level: BCC to include Mathematics at grade B plus either Physics, Chemistry, Design Technology or Engineering. GCSE English at grade 5/C or above is required if not held at A Level.
Irish Leaving Certificate Higher: H2H3H3H3 to include Maths and either Physics, Chemistry or Technological Studies. English at grade O3 or above is required if not held at Higher.
IB Diploma: 27 to include Higher Level Maths and Physics or Chemistry at grade 5. English is required at a minimum of Standard Level grade 4.
