The course primarily aims to develop professional planning competencies. It builds upon your general planning knowledge by offering specialized training to equip you with the
expertise required for a successful career in this field. You'll gain proficiency in technical tools (GIS, design software, statistical analysis) while focusing on their practical application to address challenges, innovate solutions for urban spaces, and navigate environmental management complexities. The program emphasizes hands-on learning through real-world scenarios, tackling actual planning issues like creating Development Plans for municipal clients, studio projects, and fieldwork involving contentious proposals such as fracking and wind energy projects. Through collaborative teamwork, you'll develop actionable strategies for sustainable urban development and environmental stewardship.
