Qualification Requirements

Requirements for each PhD project vary but generally, we are looking for applicants who hold, or expect to receive: A first or upper second-class honours degree in a relevant subject area. If your qualifications are not from a UK university, QMUL also considers recognised equivalent qualifications from accredited overseas institutions and equivalent professional qualifications. A masters qualification is desirable but not always essential. Relevant experience within the field may also be taken into account. IELTS Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall, with a 6.0 in all categories. TOEFL minimum score 92 overall with 21 in Writing, 19 in Reading, 18 in Listening and 21 in Speaking.
