International Political Sociology (IPS) is a cross-disciplinary area merging international relations with fields like sociology, geography, law, history, and anthropology. Its core aim is to foster creative approaches for analyzing political and social dynamics, opening fresh possibilities for living together in an era marked by global crises and narratives of catastrophe. Modern realities clearly demonstrate how interconnected all elements are - people, wildlife, vegetation, and Earth's physical processes. Migration patterns test territorial boundaries, making it difficult to distinguish between local and global spheres. Digital innovations are transforming multiple life domains, from AI applications in business to military strategies and safety measures. Conventional separations between humanity and nature, government and community, global and domestic affairs, or technology and human action prove insufficient for navigating today's intricate, interdependent reality. This master's program addresses these issues through a solution-oriented perspective on global politics that crosses traditional academic divisions. It offers groundbreaking education in International Political Sociology, a multidisciplinary framework connecting scholarly domains such as International Relations, Political Science, Sociology, Law, and History, while also engaging with practical spheres like policy institutes, advocacy groups, activist networks, and governmental agencies.Career OpportunitiesThe program focuses on developing specialized competencies and expertise to equip graduates for roles involving knowledge production in universities, research centers, nonprofit organizations, and government bodies. Beyond discipline-specific learning, the acquired versatile skills prepare students for diverse professional paths, including public administration, media, community services, governance at various levels, and nonprofit sector positions.
