The one-year BSc (top-up) program in Animal Therapy and Rehabilitation is designed for individuals looking to advance their Level 5 qualification in animal therapy studies, like the FdSc in Animal Therapy and Rehabilitation, to a BSc (Hons) degree. This program helps you deepen and broaden your scientific understanding of animal therapy and rehabilitation while applying this knowledge practically within the industry. While primarily focused on canines, the curriculum also covers various small and large animal species. Students can enhance their academic abilities by critically examining and assessing current research. Additionally, participants may earn an accredited Level 3 Certificate in Small Animal Hydrotherapy.

Students will usually have achieved an average grade (GPA) of 55% in Fd(Sc) Animal Behaviour and Welfare or an equivalent relevant animal related level 5 qualification of 240 CAT points, subject to individual credit rating by Oxford Brookes

If your main language is not English, you will need to show us that your English is at the right level to enable you to study here successfully. The majority of undergraduate courses require IELTS 6.0, with 6.0 in reading and writing, 5.5 in speaking and listening. TOEFL - 72 overall, with 18 in reading, 17 in writing, 17 in listening and 20 in speaking. Cambridge English - C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency.
