The one-year BSc (top-up) program in Animal Behavior and Welfare is designed for individuals seeking to
advance their Level 5 qualification in animal-related fields, like the FdSc in Animal Behavior and
Welfare, to a BSc (Hons) degree. This program enables you to enhance and broaden your
scientific understanding of animal behavior and welfare while applying this knowledge practically
in animal-related sectors. The curriculum includes opportunities to refine
academic abilities through critical assessment and examination of current research.
Graduates can pursue entry-level positions in animal-related fields or further their
education by advancing to Level 7 programs, such as Master's degrees. Alumni
have embarked on careers in behavior training, while others have found employment in zoos, animal
sanctuaries, and veterinary clinics.
