Modern paramedics are expertly trained medical professionals delivering critical emergency services across diverse, dynamic settings. This vital role continues to expand within the evolving NHS framework, with paramedics taking on innovative responsibilities in emerging healthcare fields.

This intensive 2-year MSc Program prepares graduates to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as qualified Paramedics. Designed as a comprehensive full-time pathway, the course integrates all essential elements for paramedic certification while advancing your prior academic foundation. The curriculum employs a hybrid learning model, blending campus-based instruction with digital coursework and self-directed study.

Students complete roughly 600 annual placement hours, primarily working alongside designated ambulance service mentors, supplemented by valuable rotations in complementary healthcare environments. Graduates meeting all requirements become eligible to apply for HCPC registration as certified paramedics.
