This program focuses on the technical aspects of design—creating and producing products, systems, and services. It's ideal if you're fascinated by design engineering and prefer a hands-on learning experience.
We'll examine the relationship between form and function in design, nurturing your creativity while delving into specialized topics such as electronics, robotics, mechatronics, materials testing, and production. We'll also investigate cutting-edge trends like user experience, smart technology, and eco-friendly design.
Through product teardowns, you'll dismantle and improve existing designs, while industry visits will connect you with major companies that provide real-world projects and critique your work. You may even apply your skills during a year-long professional placement—past opportunities have included TATA, Samsung, Autodesk (San Francisco), and Hubs (Amsterdam).
This course is designed to make you a top candidate for employers. You'll graduate with an innovator's vision, an engineer's technical expertise, and a leader's business acumen. This unique combination explains why our alumni land roles at industry leaders like Dyson, Tesco, PepsiCo, Disney, Unilever, and McLaren F1.
