We provide four distinct animal science degree options: BSc (Hons) Animal Biology (this program) - concentrates on domesticated species including pets, working animals, and farm animals. BSc (Hons) Zoo Biology - specializes in zoo-kept animals and exotic species. BSc (Hons) Zoology - examines various invertebrate and vertebrate species, exploring their biology, evolution, classification, and identification. FdSc Animal Science - offers a more practical approach with stronger focus on applied skills. Students will implement these scientific concepts across different scenarios, particularly in animal welfare, breeding, and management practices. The curriculum emphasizes companion animals and livestock, including their care, housing, and dietary needs.
