Leverage our extensive professional connections through masterclasses with accomplished screenwriters, filmmakers, producers, set designers, audio specialists, and cinematographers.You'll investigate how production techniques and creative decisions influence narrative outcomes, primarily working with short film formats like original and adapted narratives, non-fiction films, commercials, and branded content. In your final year, you can write, produce, or helm an original short film for consideration in our industry showcase event, with possibilities for global visibility via digital exhibitions and Norwich's Graduate Showcase.Program highlightsHone your narrative abilities alongside essential production competencies including project development, screenwriting, film direction, camera work, audio production, set design, and post-production.Master professional workflows covering all production phases from concept development and planning through filming to final edits.Work in creative teams on diverse projects spanning original and adapted fiction, documentary filmmaking, avant-garde cinema, musical/dance videos, and fashion films.Analyze how your artistic, technical, and logistical choices affect your work's reception and its connection to current cultural discussions.Acquire thorough understanding of production ethics, legal considerations, and sustainability practices, including specialized training through BAFTA albert in environmental awareness and green filmmaking.

Where candidates are not taking 3 A-levels, Norwich University of the Arts will consider combinations of A-level/AS-level and other Level 3 qualifications. TOEFL - 80 overall, with minimum marks as follows: Listening 17, Writing 17, Reading 18, Speaking 20.
