The term "midwife" originates from "with woman," reflecting a centuries-old bond between midwives and those they serve. While "pregnant woman" remains widely used in global maternity care guidelines, our MSc Midwifery Studies program addresses the evolving landscape of childbirth and midwifery's future while honoring its core principles.
This master's program fulfills Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards, qualifying graduates for UK midwifery registration. Expanding on our BSc (Hons) Midwifery Studies foundation, we enhance clinical competencies while elevating academic rigor, emphasizing innovation, leadership, and research capabilities.
