Our Registered Nurse (Child) Degree Apprenticeship offers a work-based learning pathway for career advancement.
This intensive 18-month full-time program allows apprentices to enter our Nursing Science (Child) BSc curriculum midway through the second year, completing the remaining second and third year coursework.

Featuring a concept-driven approach mirroring real-world scenarios, the program covers fundamental nursing principles aligned with the Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC) 'Future Nurse' competencies. Graduates will emerge as qualified nurses skilled in patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and professional integrity.

Aligned with current NMC standards, participants will cultivate critical thinking capabilities to address complex pediatric healthcare challenges affecting children, adolescents, and their families.

Throughout the apprenticeship, students will master comprehensive nursing competencies including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of personalized, evidence-based treatments. The curriculum emphasizes research literacy and practical application of evidence in clinical settings.

This program fosters inquisitive, innovative, and cooperative healthcare professionals. It nurtures compassionate practitioners who can meaningfully improve health outcomes for infants, children, young adults, and their families through evidence-informed care.
