The BA (Hons) in Product Design cultivates a thoughtful, investigative, and innovative mindset for developing products, services, and user experiences.
Previously titled 'Design for Industry,' our product design program has been offered at Northumbria for more than four decades. Throughout these years, our outstanding faculty has equipped graduates with the expertise, abilities, and creative assurance to develop solutions addressing human, societal, and commercial requirements. From a combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications which may include: A-level, T Level, BTEC Diplomas/Extended Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, Access to HE Diplomas or the International Baccalaureate.
A Diploma in Foundation Studies Art and Design, or Art Design and Media is also accepted in combination with other qualifications
GCSE Requirements:
Applicants will need Maths and English Language at minimum grade 4 or C, or the equivalent.
International applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component
