The Primary PGCE program offers hands-on training for teaching. It equips you with essential skills to educate students between ages 5 and 11. This course focuses on connecting educational theories with classroom practice through research. You'll develop professional teaching competencies for elementary school children. The approach centers on experiential learning through thoughtful reflection and investigation. The curriculum blends academic coursework with practical training, leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) certification. As part of the program, you'll complete 60 credits of graduate-level coursework. Successful completion grants you a master's level PGCE qualification and QTS recommendation.
