Our Bachelor of Science in Medical Science provides the technical expertise and interpersonal abilities needed for diverse career paths in NHS, pharmaceutical, veterinary, agricultural, or academic laboratory settings. Alternative professional opportunities include roles as medical science liaisons, science communicators, or educators.
Graduates may also pursue advanced studies to enter healthcare practice as clinical scientists, clinical research associates, or physician associates.
Middlesex University offers a pharmacology specialization option, leading to a BSc Medical Science (Pharmacology) degree. This pathway mirrors the standard Medical Science program for the first two years. The third year shifts focus to pharmacology, with mandatory coursework in Drug Development and Neuropharmacology.
