The Media Foundation Year serves as an introductory pathway to a media degree for students who currently don't meet the standard entry criteria. This program is structured as a four-year journey, beginning with a foundational year followed by three years of degree-level study. Successful completion of the foundation year guarantees progression to our undergraduate media programs. Many foundation students not only transition smoothly but often emerge as top-performing graduates.
This Foundation Year is ideal if:
you lack the formal qualifications for direct degree entry
you need additional preparation before starting degree-level work
you want to build technical skills and confidence in media-related subjects
you're returning to education and seek academic refreshers before degree studies
Program duration: 1 year foundation + 3 years degree (full-time).
